Paweł Jabłoński confirmed Poland’s attendance at the meeting in Jeddah in an interview with public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency on Monday.
The plan to host multinational talks on peace in Ukraine was first reported by The Wall Street Journal on Saturday.
Scheduled for August 5-6, the meeting will be focused on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposed peace plan, US broadcaster CNBC has reported.
Some 30 countries have been invited to take part, with representatives of the European Union, South Africa, Britain and Poland having already confirmed their participation.
Other invited countries include India and Brazil, as well as Indonesia, Egypt, Mexico, Chile and Zambia, the IAR news agency reported.
Meanwhile, Russia was not included in the upcoming meeting, according to CNBC.
The government in Kyiv as well as the United States and other Western allies are hoping the talks at Jeddah will help establish a broadly-supported peace pact, setting out the rules under which the war in Ukraine could end, according to officials.
Such a peace plan, agreed before the end of the year, could set up future peace negotiations with Russia and Ukraine, the IAR news agency reported.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
Tuesday is day 524 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
