“Happy Independence Day to Poland, our good neighbour and friend,” wrote Volodymyr Zelenskyy on social media in a message published in Polish, English, and Ukrainian, on the occasion of Poland's Independence Day celebrated on November 11.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy highlighted the strong friendship and shared struggle for freedom between their nations.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that both countries understand the true value of independence, which is essential for ensuring freedom and security.

Zelenskyy stressed the importance of unity in facing common historical challenges and pointed out that friendship can overcome geopolitical obstacles.

He affirmed Ukraine's commitment to maintaining good relations with Poland and working together for the security and prosperity of both nations and all of Europe.
