Some Polish news outlets suggested that, after her visit to Warsaw, von der Leyen could travel to Kyiv to mark the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The European Commission would not confirm these reports, according to the PAP news agency.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.
Saturday will mark two years of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
