The visit will commence with one-on-one discussions between President Duda and his Slovenian counterpart, President Nataša Pirc Musar, followed by broader Polish-Slovenian bilateral negotiations. A key focus of these talks will be the security dynamics within the region and the European Union's support strategies for Ukraine, especially concerning the provision of crucial ammunition to counter the Russian offensive.
Duda's itinerary also includes meetings in Ljubljana with Slovenian governmental and parliamentary representatives. The visit is poised to further delve into collaborative prospects on Thursday at a Polish-Slovenian business forum in Planica, concentrating on ICT and cybersecurity within the context of the Trilateral Initiative.
Culminating the visit, the presidential couples will partake in a cultural event in the town of Kranj, unveiling a bust of esteemed Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz in the Avenue of Contemporary Poets.
