He added that EU finance ministers would discuss possible financing models during a meeting in Warsaw in April, the Reuters news agency reported.
"I believe that security is a common good, therefore we need a common solution," Domański said, as cited by Reuters.
"There must be a European solution," he argued.
The European Commission has estimated that enhancing the EU's defence capabilities could cost around EUR 500 billion over the next decade, according to Reuters.
Domański said that a common European air defence system was not only about money but also about cooperation between nations, Reuters reported.
Poland's European Affairs Minister Adam Szłapka said on Tuesday that the country's presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2025 would focus on various aspects of security.
