The new poll, by SW Research for rp.pl, asked which of the two Civic Coalition (KO) candidates would be a safer pair of hands for Polish national security.
- 29.3% of respondents said that Rafał Sikorski would handle national security better
- 25.9% said that Radosław Sikorski would be better
- 19.3% said they would be as good as each other
- 25.5% said they had no opinion
The results are surprising in view of Radosław Sikorski's "ideal CV" as a foreign minister, former defence minister and former wartime correspondent.
More fine-grained results give a more nuanced picture:
Sikorski was more granted more credibility than Trzaskowski among those aged 35-49, as well as among those with higher education, better earners and those living in cities.
