Nauseda, who was sworn in on Friday, was set to meet Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
Duda said ahead of the visit that Poland and Lithuania should work together on transport and energy projects, and should strive to increase the presence of NATO forces in the region.
Krzysztof Szczerski, Duda’s chief of staff, told reporters that the two presidents would discuss bilateral relations, security issues, transatlantic relations and cooperation at a regional level.
Duda and Nauseda would also touch on recent elections to the European Parliament, the formation of the new European Commission and Brexit, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
