All three politicians on Monday took part in a videoconference on Belarus and the migration crisis, organised by Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg, public broadcaster Polish Radio's IAR news agency reported.
The event, which was moved online following the imposition of a COVID-19 lockdown in Austria, also featured the Austrian and Slovakian foreign ministers, among other diplomats.
During the videoconference, Poland's Rau stated that "as the trans-Atlantic community, we do not recognise Alexander Lukashenko as president, and nor should we in the future."
The Polish foreign minister also said Warsaw and the European Union remained committed to supporting the independence and sovereignty of Belarus, protecting the rights of its citizens and securing the release of all political prisoners, IAR reported.
Rau speaks to Tsikhanouskaya
During a telephone conversation with Tsikhanouskaya, Rau offered assurances that Poland's policy on Belarus would remain unchanged, his ministry tweeted.
The Belarusian dissident also took to Twitter, writing: "I am glad that we can coordinate our steps and strategy towards the resolution of Belarus' political crisis. It's important to be consistent and not negotiate with the dictator."
Polish, German FMs discuss Belarus border crisis
Rau also spoke on the phone with his German counterpart Maas, with the pair focusing on the ongoing migration crisis at the EU's eastern frontier, the Polish foreign ministry said in a statement.
The Polish top diplomat stressed the need for a coherent and coordinated policy regarding Belarus, noting "only then do we stand a chance of putting an end to the dangerous crisis situation which threatens the security of the whole region," the statement read.
Rau and Maas also discussed "the deteriorating security environment in the region" and bilateral issues, the Polish foreign ministry tweeted.
The months-long migrant crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border has escalated in recent weeks, with Poland, the European Union and its member states, as well as NATO and the United States accusing Belarus strongman leader Alexander Lukashenko of orchestrating the standoff in retaliation for Western sanctions against his regime.
Lukashenko denies luring vulnerable people, including Kurds from the Middle East, with the false promise of easy access to the EU and sending them across the bloc's border.
