The figure was in line with an earlier estimate by the country’s labour ministry.
There were around 1,029,500 people without jobs across the nation at the end of July, compared with 1,026,500 a month earlier, according to the state-run statistics agency.
Labour Minister Marlena Maląg said earlier this month that the Polish labour market seemed to be stabilizing after a period of lockdown and restrictions affecting the economy.
Maląg has previously said that some 5 million jobs have been saved throughout the country thanks to measures including a massive relief and stimulus package that aimed to shield the economy from the coronavirus.
Poland's jobless rate is expected to rise to 8 percent at the end of this year, from 5.2 percent at the end of 2019, under a proposed revision of the country's 2020 budget.
According to the European Union’s statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, unemployment in Poland was a modest 3 percent in June, the second-lowest rate in the 27-nation bloc.
A total of 63,073 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Poland since the start of the pandemic, and 1,977 have died from the COVID-19 respiratory disease so far, public health authorities announced on Tuesday.
