Over a dozen members of the Cabinet had been in quarantine while awaiting test results.
A Cabinet meeting planned for Tuesday was put off to comply with safety measures, Michał Dworczyk, a senior aide to Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, told public broadcaster Polish Radio's IAR news agency.
Dworczyk added that Morawiecki had not been present at the last government meeting attended by Environment Minister Michał Woś.
Neither were the health, justice and interior ministers. Out of the 24 members of the Cabinet, nine had been absent, IAR reported.
Authorities said on Tuesday morning that another patient in Poland had died after contracting the coronavirus, bringing the country’s death toll to five.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland rose by 44 on Tuesday, bringing the total to 221.
