Through social media, she shared that she is safe and thanked her fans for their concern.

"For now, we are waiting for the situation to develop, but we are still at a safe distance from the fires. My thoughts are with those who have lost their homes and livelihoods in this massive disaster," she wrote on Instagram Stories.

The situation remains serious. The fires have destroyed over 2,000 homes, including one of the actress's favorite restaurants in Malibu. So far, five fatalities have been reported, and about 130,000 people are under evacuation warnings or orders.

Local authorities have warned that smoke from the fires could travel long distances, and the smoke can penetrate the lungs and bloodstream.

As reported earlier on Radio Poland, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences postponed the announcement of the Oscar nominations due to the ongoing conditions, moving the date from January 17th to January 19th.
