Poland triumphs over Ukraine 3:1 in pre-Euro 2024 friendly

In a spirited friendly at Poland’s National Stadium, the Polish national football team secured a 3:1 victory against Ukraine.

This game is one of two scheduled friendlies for Poland before the start of the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.

Poland, experimenting with their formation under the guidance of selector Michał Probierz, showcased a dominant performance against a strong Ukrainian side.

Poland fielded a truncated lineup, with eight players who are likely to be included in the Euro 2024 squad not participating in the match. Probierz must finalize his team selection by midnight.

For Ukraine, this match was the second of three preparatory games before Euro 2024. They previously held Germany to a 0:0 draw in an away game and are set to face Moldova on June 11.
