This year's edition is scheduled to take place on the PGE Narodowy national stadium grounds in Warsaw, between 11:00 and 18:00.
The visitors will have the opportunity to meet Paralympians, talk to physiotherapists and dietitians - as well as participate in numerous other activities. Nearly 120 exhibitors, sports associations and organisations will provide entertainment, training and other attractions across 20,000 square metres covered by the festival, the coordinator of the event informs.
"There will be a lot going on. There will be equestrian shows, Hobby Horse tournaments - loved by the youngest, football tournaments, basketball training. You will also be able to try your hand at various martial arts: kung-fu, taekwondo, karate, there will even be Japanese fencing called kendo. You will also be able to test your strength in the Lacrosse discipline, which involves placing the ball in the opponent's goal using a special racket. This discipline will return to the Olympics in Los Angeles in four years. In addition, there will be plenty of family attractions"

The sports zone at the picnic will be accompanied by the Warsaw Family Days zone - full of attractions, animations and workshops for both adults and children. RPG sessions, art workshops, eye tests, laboratory workshops, illusionist shows, competitions with prizes, stage performances and a lot more.
A Polish Fruits & Vegetable Zone will also accompany the main and secondary area of the picnic. In the course of the event, at 2:00 PM local time there will be a record-breaking attempt in "The most people eating apples at the same time" category, organised by the Polish Dwarf Orchards Development Society.
The Polish Chamber of Organic Food, associating producers, distributors, processors and stores with organic food, will also be present in the zone. Their stand will host culinary workshops with a popular educator - Sylwia Majcher - as well as a competition with prizes, and dietary consultations.
The National Sports Day 2024 celebrations are not limited to Warsaw, though - as hundreds of sport clubs and associations across the country organise its own events in its course.
