This marks the Polish forward's second hat-trick of the season, propelling her to the top of the league’s scoring charts with nine goals.

Despite the early pressure in the Sunday clash, Barcelona found themselves trailing 0-1 at halftime, courtesy of a goal from Espanyol's Simona Botero.

But, after the break, head coach Pere Romeu brought in his star players, including Pajor, Caroline Graham Hansen, and 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas.

In the 59th minute, Pajor headed in a brilliant equalizer from a long free kick by Claudia Pina, setting the tone for Barcelona's second-half dominance. Putellas followed up with two more goals, before Pina and 2023 Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmatí added their names to the scoresheet.

With Barcelona cruising at 5-1, Pajor wasn’t done yet. In the 85th minute, she slotted in her second goal from a perfect through ball by Putellas, and moments later completed her hat-trick by converting a cross from Hansen, sealing the 7-1 victory. Pajor was rightfully named Player of the Match for her stunning display.

This is the second time this season Pajor has netted a hat-trick, following her standout performance in Barcelona’s 10-1 win over Granada. With nine goals in just six league matches, the Polish striker is leading the Liga F scoring charts, much like her compatriot Robert Lewandowski in La Liga.
