Team USA remain at the top of the FIFA rankings, followed by world champions Spain and Euro 2022 runners-up Germany.

The Polish women's national football team last month defeated Northern Ireland 2-0 and Romania 1-0 in its first two games of the 2025 UEFA Nations League.

Manager Nina Patalon's squad will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in their next Nations League fixture on April 4.

Later this year, Poland will join 15 other teams from across Europe for the Euro 2025 tournament in Switzerland.

Poland have been drawn to play Germany, Sweden and Denmark in the group stage of this year's European football championships.

The Polish team qualified for the continental tournament after defeating Austria 1-0 in a playoff in Vienna on December 3.

Captain Ewa Pajor scored the winning goal in added time, sending Poland to the continental tournament for the first time.

The Euro 2025 tournament will be held in Switzerland from July 2 to 27, featuring matches in eight cities: Basel, Bern, Geneva, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Sion and Thun.

The Polish team opens its Euro 2025 campaign against Germany on July 4.
