The duo beat Maximo Gonzalez of Argentina and Ulrikke Eikeri of Norway 6-2, 6-3 in the second round on Thursday.
The 27-year-old Pole and the 38-year-old Taiwanese have two Grand Slam mixed doubles titles to their name. In January, they won the Australian Open in Melbourne, and in July, they triumphed at the Wimbledon championships in London.
Meanwhile, Poland's Iga Świątek has booked her place in the second round of the US Open women's singles competition, with a 6-4, 7-6 win over Russian qualifier Kamilla Rakhimova.
The Polish world No. 1 is set to take on Japan's Ena Shibahara for a spot in the third round at Flushing Meadows on Thursday.
In the men's singles, Poland's seventh-seeded Hubert Hurkacz crashed out of the tournament in New York after being eliminated by Australia's Jordan Thompson in the second round on Thursday.
The 2024 US Open runs until September 8.
