As the theme of this year’s event is mental health in the workplace, Iga Świątek addressed this issue in a video recorded for the occasion.
"There will be no healthy standards at work if we don't take care of our mental health from a very young age," emphasized the tennis player, explaining that this is why she strives to support organizations that help children and young people.
In her view, UNICEF Poland sets a good example. The organization received a donation of 200,000 PLN (46,546.81 EUR) from Iga Świątek to further support its work.
"I think that the most beautiful way to celebrate World Mental Health Day is to educate ourselves in this field," the athlete noted.
