Polish state TV to greet 2025 with massive open-air bash

Polish state television TVP is set to welcome 2025 with a massive open-air event in the southern city of Chorzów, marking a new venue for the broadcaster's annual celebrations.

TVP has announced that its Year's Eve celebration at the Silesian Stadium will feature a long lineup of domestic and international performers, led by Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams.

The public broadcaster said that the new venue, chosen over the southern mountain resort of Zakopane, would offer "unforgettable emotions and impressions" for revellers as they ring in the new year.

The Silesian Stadium is a prime venue for major sports and cultural events, including football matches, track-and-field competitions and music concerts.
