Linette, who is ranked world No. 44 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), will next face Spain's world No. 33 Paula Badosa for a place in the fourth round.
Meanwhile, Poland’s Iga Świątek has booked a spot in the third round of the women's singles at Wimbledon with a straight-set 6-1, 6-3 win over Russia's Vera Zvonareva on Wednesday.
She next takes on Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu.
Świątek in 2018 won the Girls' Singles title at Wimbledon.
