"St Ives and Elsewhere" exhibition launches the 2025 Polish-British cultural season

Launching in March 2025 and running through November, the UK/Poland Season 2025, initiated by the British Council, will feature over 100 events across numerous cities in both countries, celebrating a milestone in the cultural relationship between Poland and the UK.

The season officially began on March 5th with the exhibition "St Ives and Elsewhere" at the Museum of Art in Łódź, showcasing works from the British Council Collection, the Tate Collection, and Polish museums. Ada Janiszewska reports from the grand opening.

The initiative will celebrate the cultural richness of both nations, fostering enduring connections and encouraging future creative endeavors for years to come.

The UK program kicks off on March 6th with the opening of the KINOTEKA Polish Film Festival at the British Film Institute's flagship cinema, BFI Southbank, in London.
