The first convoy of such aid has set off from the Warsaw Rising Museum in the Polish capital, and a second one is being prepared.

The Warsaw museum's deputy director Paweł Ukielski says Poland is particularly sensitive to protecting cultural heritage because it suffered huge losses during World War II as a result of bombings as well as intentional destruction and theft.

He talks to Elżbieta Krajewska.
