The Ukrainian military said in a statement it was inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.
Ukrainian troops repelled a total of 44 Russian attacks on the Pokrovsk front throughout the day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a nightly video address that efforts were ongoing to ensure that Ukrainian troops are provided with the necessary supplies.
"We understand the enemy's moves and are reinforcing ourselves," he added.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.
Wednesday is day 910 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
