During his visit to Paris, Radosław Sikorski confirmed that work on the Poland-France cooperation treaty will be finalized in the coming months.
Poland's top diplomat expressed his belief that Europe must increase investments in its security, emphasizing the role of cooperation with the U.S. and the importance of strong transatlantic relations.
The head of Polish diplomacy warned that Europe may face pressure to reach an agreement with Moscow, but, as he stressed, it should not allow Russia to regain strength. He also added that we should not impose time limits on our support for Ukraine.
At the joint press conference with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, Sikorski emphasized that his invitation to the conference was a sign of trust and a confirmation of the strong Polish-French relations.
He also highlighted that the visit took place after Poland's presidency of the EU Council had begun and announced plans to coordinate actions with France on matters regarding the future of the European Union.

The Minister pointed out the need to adopt a treaty on enhanced friendship and cooperation to strengthen ties between Poland and France.
Jean-Noël Barrot emphasized that Poland and France, as friendly and allied nations, are working together to build a stronger and better-protected European Union.
