Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 156,990: report
Around 156,990 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country more than a year ago, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 3,448 tanks, 6,742 armoured personnel vehicles and 2,475 artillery systems during their military campaign in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.
On Thursday alone, Ukrainian forces "eliminated" 870 Russian soldiers, according to the ukrinform.net website.
Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 491 multiple launch rocket systems, 256 air defence systems, 304 warplanes, 289 helicopters, 18 warships, and 2,107 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.
Friday is day 380 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
