International conference, 6 October 2016, Krakow. The conference will address the development of digital radio and its challenges, now widely commented on in many European countries, especially in Central and Eastern Europe.
In Poland the coverage of digital broadcasting DAB+ reaches slightly more than 50% of the population, but the audience is minimal. This problem is also faced by our neighbouring countries. Thus, we believe that it is necessary to hold a debate on the digital strategy at the national and European levels. The aim of this conference is not to promote DAB+, but to have an open discussion showing both benefits and costs of digitalization.
The conference is organized together with City of Krakow and is under the auspices of Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
