There were around 801,500 people without jobs across the nation at the end of November, down by 97,300 from a year earlier, according to the government.
The state-run Statistics Poland agency (GUS) reported last month that the Polish jobless rate stayed flat at 5.1 percent in October, unchanged from September.
Meanwhile, the European Union’s Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, estimated this month that unemployment in Poland was a modest 3 percent in October, one of the lowest rates in the 27-nation bloc.
