Poland win silver at U18 women's ice hockey worlds

Denmark won the event, which was held in southern Poland from January 10 and 15, according to the Polish Ice Hockey Federation (PZHL).

Poland’s U18 women’s team, coached by Magdalena Jabłońska, won three matches in the tournament, defeating South Korea 6-0, Spain 4-0 and Chinese Taipei 4-0, according to organizers.

The Poles lost 1-3 to Denmark, the Polish Ice Hockey Federation said.

The 2023 Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I, Group B was held at the Jantor ice rink in Katowice, which also hosted the women’s tournament of the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championships Division I Group B in April last year.
