During his visit, Radosław Sikorski will meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington to discuss "Ukraine and Euro-Atlantic relations," Polish foreign ministry spokesman Paweł Wroński told reporters on Thursday.

He said Sikorski would also hold talks in Congress and at the US National Security Council.

The visit includes a meeting with representatives from American think tanks, Wroński added.

"The Polish foreign minister will then head to New York for a session of the UN Security Council and General Assembly, where he will speak on behalf of the European Union," Wroński announced.

Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.

Monday will mark three years of Russia's war against Ukraine.
